2010 Ford F-350 SD SUPER DUTY - KING RANCH

This is a great-looking Ford truck, especially for the Midwest, and it’s the King Ranch model, so it has beautiful, premium leather inside. The aggressive mud tires really complete the rugged look, with about 40% tread remaining. The engine runs smoothly, and the truck drives excellently! We just took it on a 10-hour round trip to pick up a trailer, and it performed flawlessly. It has plenty of power and shifts smoothly through all the gears.

Everything works like it should—radio, windows, sunroof, heated seats, backup camera, heat, 4x4, wipers, turn signals, horn, and cruise control. The suspension is quiet, and the brakes are solid.

That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of: The emissions system was partially deleted, so there is a check engine light on, but it's related to exhaust codes from the deleted emissions. (Check the video for the exact codes.) We’ve also noticed some blue smoke coming from the tailpipe at times (see the video), but there are no signs of any fluid leaks.

Overall, we’ve driven this truck quite a bit and it holds up well. It’s a solid ride, but remember, diesel trucks often require more maintenance and can be pricier to repair compared to gas vehicles. Do your research and be prepared for some upkeep!
