Vehicle Description

Walkaround Description

This 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab starts right up, runs smooth, and stops with firm, confident braking power. Out on the road, it steers straight and rides surprisingly smooth for a farm truck with no suspension rattles, clunks, or wheel wobble. Under the hood, the 3.9L V6 engine has plenty of get-up-and-go, while the automatic transmission shifts along as it should. The heater blows hot, the radio works, wipers and sprayers work, the horn honks, and the cruise control engages cleanly on the dash. Tires have plenty of meat left at around 65% tread, making this a functional runabout ready to haul. Cosmetically, she is a rough-and-tumble work truck that shows her age and Midwest roots. There are visible rust spots along the wheel wells, rocker panels, and rear bumper. The front bumper has a dent and is zip-tied, and the chrome wrap is peeling off the front grille. Inside, the bench seat has heavy fabric tears and exposed foam on the driver's side (covered by a blanket), the steering wheel cover is flaking, and the cabin shows normal farm grime and dust. The check engine light is illuminated on the cluster, and the air conditioning is not blowing cold (plus the fan blower doesn't run on the Max A/C dial setting). The bed tailgate handle also would not unlatch during the walkaround.
