Vehicle Description
Walkaround Description
This 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with the 3.6L V6 engine and is a sharp-looking rig in maroon with a tan leather interior. It starts right up, idles smooth and quiet, and steers and drives very tight and solid on the road. The automatic transmission shifts smooth with no slipping, and it tracks well. Inside, you get a clean cabin loaded with comfort features: working power windows, sunroof, power mirrors, power driver's seat, touchscreen radio, backup camera with on-screen view, cruise control, and a functional power liftgate. Cosmetically, it shows some honest Midwest wear. There is a visible dent on the front passenger fender, some hail dings across the hood, and a long crack across the passenger side of the windshield. Inside, the trim panel piece around the center console shifter is loose because a clip broke off. While testing, the horn did not honk at all, and the auto start/stop system displayed a service warning light on the dash. The vehicle had an active Check Engine Light with multiple stored diagnostic codes, including P000C, P0019 (cam/crank position correlation), and misfire/oil pressure related codes. After clearing the codes and taking a test drive, the Check Engine Light stayed off and the engine idled smoothly without sputtering, but the P0019 crank/cam correlation code returned as pending. Plan on having your mechanic inspect the timing/cam sensor setup to ensure long-term peace of mind.
