2013 KIA Forte
Vehicle Description
Walkaround Description
This 2013 Kia Forte EX starts up, drives, shifts, and steers where you point it, and the brakes stop the car as they should. On a short test drive around the block, the suspension felt good without weird clunks. With only around 133,000 miles on the clock, it has a lot of potential as an inexpensive commuter if you know your way around a toolbox or want a project car to fix up. Cosmetically, it looks like a typical Midwest daily. There is noticeable rocker panel rust eating along the lower body, a rusty rear wheel arch, and typical scrapes and bumps on the bumpers. Inside, the cabin shows normal wear and tear with some dirt on the carpets and seats, along with a steering wheel cover that is peeling. The engine has an obvious mechanical rattle/knocking noise and an active oil pressure warning light on the dash, along with stored trouble codes for a cylinder 4 misfire (P0304) and camshaft timing advance (P0011). It feels restricted on power while driving and will need serious mechanical inspection and engine work before it's road ready.

Owner Notes / Repairs made
[2026-10-21] Matt: this Forte likely needs a motor rebuild (his assessment). Right buyer is a mechanic or a confident Kia person โ do NOT match it to a buyer needing a ready daily driver.
