2015 MITSUBISHI Outlander Sport
Vehicle Description
Walkaround Description
This 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport starts right up and handles everyday road driving better than expected once warmed up. Out on the highway, it gets up to speed fine with its 2.0L motor, steers straight, and the brakes stop firm and solid with no shuddering or grinding heard. The push-button AWD/4WD system selects properly between 2WD, 4WD Auto, and 4WD Lock. Inside, the power windows all work, the wipers and sprayers spray clean, cruise control sets, and the A/C blows out nice and cold air. Cosmetically, she's got some miles on her with around 206,000 showing on the dash. There's a missing side marker or fender trim piece on the passenger front fender, and a missing plastic trim panel along the rear passenger door sill carpet. Tires look to be around 35% to 40% tread remaining, and the radio works and plays music but the digital display screen doesn't show anything. The big visual defect is noticeable paint bubbling and rust damage on the rear tailgate around the lights. Mechanically, the check engine light is on with active OBD2 codes P0421 (catalytic converter efficiency bank 1) and P2719 (transmission pressure control solenoid 'D'). The driver noted sluggish acceleration during initial cold start, so expect it to need catalytic converter or transmission solenoid attention down the line.
