Vehicle Description

Walkaround Description

This 2008 Mercury Milan starts right up and runs smooth down the road with good power from the 3.0L V6. The automatic transmission shifts through the gears as it should, cruise control works, and the steering feels fine going straight. All four power windows, the sunroof, the radio, and the turn signals are functioning properly. The shop recently fixed a leaking coolant hose and replaced a cracked power steering sensor under the hood. The interior shows some normal wear and tear, including a split seam on the front driver's leather seat and a missing vent trim piece on the driver's side dash. The tires are sitting around 25% to 30% tread, close to the wear bars in the front, and the air conditioning is currently blowing warm air. Also, there is a vibration when you press the brakes, likely meaning the rotors could stand to be turned or replaced. Cosmetically and underneath, this car shows its Midwestern age. The rocker panels have noticeable rot holes and rust bubbling through, and the right rear quarter panel has heavy body damage with a deep crease dent and a cracked taillight. The front bumper cover is held together with a zip tie on the passenger corner. On the dash, the ABS and traction control warning lights are on with a 'Check Brake System' message, and there's an audible rattle/clunk coming from the rear suspension over bumps.
