Vehicle Description

Walkaround Description

This 2011 GMC Acadia starts right up and handles the road well. Braking is solid and smooth with no vibration or grinding felt through the pedal. Steering and suspension stay quiet when taking turns and cruising down the highway. The heater blows hot, the radio works, cruise control engages, and the rear power liftgate and rear DVD screen operate as they should. Under the hood, fluid levels look good and there is no visible blow-by under the oil cap. Cosmetically, she shows normal age with light scuffs and minor wear around the grey cloth interior. The driver's seat trim plastic is coming loose, and there's a small tear in the fabric. The front headlights have some typical sun haze. Up front on the driver's door panel, the window switch for the passenger side window does not operate the glass, although that window works fine using its own button on the passenger door. The A/C does not blow cold air and will need service. The dash shows a 'Tighten Gas Cap' warning message, likely related to a small EVAP leak. Most importantly, while the engine cruises smoothly on flat ground, it loses power and struggles to maintain speed when accelerating under a load or climbing hills; the inspector suspects the high-pressure fuel pump may be weak and need replacement.
