Walkaround Description

Here is a 2012 Kia Forte with only 95,028 miles on the odometer that starts right up, stops straight, and steers nicely down the road. Out on our test drive, it pulled fine up hills, shifted through gears without issue, and tracked straight without pulling when braking. The cabin is clean and detailed, all power windows roll up and down, and both the heat and cold A/C blow like they should. The tires have decent tread left all around, the radio works with Bluetooth, and it even has cruise control that engaged once we got it dialed in. Cosmetically, she's got ordinary daily driver stuff—a few small door dings and minor spots scattered around the black paint, but no major rust bubbles or peeling paint. The cruise control buttons on the steering wheel can be a bit finicky before they catch and set, though it did work once engaged. Under the hood, there is a noticeable engine tick audible while running. Miriam noted it sounds like it could be valve-train or lifter related, which is common on these engines, but it's something you will want to listen to and decide on before driving it home.

⚠️ The Bad

Cosmetically, she's got ordinary daily driver stuff—a few small door dings and minor spots scattered around the black paint, but no major rust bubbles or peeling paint. The cruise control buttons on the steering wheel can be a bit finicky before they catch and set, though it did work once engaged.

💀 The Ugly

Under the hood, there is a noticeable engine tick audible while running. Miriam noted it sounds like it could be valve-train or lifter related, which is common on these engines, but it's something you will want to listen to and decide on before driving it home.
