2013 CHEVROLET Equinox
Vehicle Description
Walkaround Description
This 2013 Chevy Equinox starts right up, runs smooth, and drives down the road without any hassle. The 2.4L Ecotec engine pulls with good pep, and the automatic transmission shifts nice and normal. Cruising at highway speeds feels steady, and the cruise control engages right at 42 mph. The brakes stop you straight with no vibration or pulling. Inside, the cabin is clean with two-tone cloth seats that show no major rips or tears, the cold A/C blows strong, all four power windows roll up and down properly, the radio plays music, and the turn signals and windshield sprayers work as they should. On top of that, there's no check engine light on the dash and a clean OBD-II scan confirms zero active trouble codes. Cosmetically, she's got typical Midwest wear. There is some bubbling rust down along the lower front fenders behind both front wheels, and the front bumper cover has a small dent, scraped paint, and slightly misaligned fitment on the passenger corner. The front tires are getting worn down to the wear bars and will need replacement sooner than the rears, which are sitting around 35% tread. You will also notice a faint strut rattle in the rear on the driver's side while driving over uneven spots, and it gets a bit more noticeable under hard braking. The underside tells the story of salted winter roads. The rocker panels underneath are rusted out with sizable holes, and the lower frame rails show heavy flaking surface rust around the factory tie-down holes. You will need to find solid alternate lift points whenever this SUV goes up on a shop lift.

💀 The Ugly
